Metabo or Metabowerke GmbH was initially founded in 1924 as Schnizler GmbH, and since then, the company have been known to manufacture power tools that would meet the higher demands of the increasingly engineered market. In 1999, the company formed the Metabo Group which further established the company's worldwide network and international presence in the power tools and accessories market.
