Vitap was established in 1954 by two mechanical engineers, namely Franco Viciani and Pietro Tanzini. Before, the company only manufactured edgebanders and boring machines, but now, they also offer new and innovative CNC machines, which are designed to work for both solid wood and flat panel. Their product lineup ranges from numerical control machining centres and trimming machines, to CNC point to point boring machines and semiautomatic boring machines.
