Custom Built Caravan Styled From The Flexible Clipper Busses Of The 1950's And 1960's.
Designed And Engineered By Master Craftsmen In 2007 From The Ground Up The Clipper Caravan Was Modelled On The Iconic Ansair Clipper Buses Of The 1950’s.
As Soon As You Climb Into The Van You Are Struck By The Quality Of The Authentic Wooden Panelling And Innovative Design, Such As How Much Circulation Space There Is Inside, It Reminds One Of Dr Who’s Tardis.
Apart From The Doorway And Middle Aisle Being Much Wider Than Any Other Caravan On The Road, The Dining Setting With A View Can Actually Seat 6 People Around The Table Comfortably!
It Has Often Been Mistaken For A Clipper Bus With People Asking Where The Steering Wheel Is, But Yes It Is A Caravan With All The Luxuries One Would Expect To Find In A Top-of-the-line Caravan, Such As Full Size Toilet And Shower Cubicle, Washing Machine And Expansive Kitchen With Quality Amenities, Sumptuous Double Bed Down Aft, Split System Air Conditioning, Even An Electric Entry Step.
But It’s When You Look Further Into It That You Realise The Design And Quality Of The Fit Out Is So Different To Any Other Caravan It’s Like Trying To Compare A Cadillac Eldorado To A Kia Carnival.
Until Recently The Van Was Displayed At MOVE (Museum Of Vehicle Evolution) In Shepparton And Before That Was The Star Of A Short Video Shoot For Camplify, But Alas It Is Now Ready For A New Life…..possibly The Star Of A Blockbuster Movie (think Priscilla Queen Of The Desert), The Main Attraction In Another Museum, 5 Star B & B Accommodation With A View, Or Maybe Just An Amazing One-of-a-kind Caravan Which Draws Heads Everywhere It Goes.
