Gianni Ferrari Mower GTM
The “entry level” segment of the Gianni Ferrari Group is made up of manoeuvrable small size machines that guarantee high productivity, with optimal cutting and collection performance that is equal to higher segment machines.

GTM and GTR are the stars of this segment: with their differences, these machines compensate and offer both hobbyist and green area maintenance operators the perfect solution for any need. Both are characterised by a direct collection system, having a grasscatcher holding 280 litres.

GTM is a professional grass collection rider that concentrates technical characteristics and top range finishes with a maximum width of only 85 cm: it can easily pass even through reduced spaces such as pedestrian gates, bushes, trees, plants and flowerbeds, guaranteeing optimal results.

Optimal for home use and also ideal for professional maintenance. The small turning radius brings out its agility and ease in manoeuvres.

CUTTING SYSTEM
The 80 cm mid cut is obtained using a single blade with shock-absorbing floating blades. The PTO is engaged to rotate the blade using a button that activates the electromagnetic clutch, which is reinforced and has life extending system which is adjustable in the event of wear. The deck shell is treated with a special cataphoresis paint treatment that protects it from the corrosion which could occur from the cut grass. In order to protect it from impacts, the deck shell is also reinforced with a 5 mm thick steel profile on the side of the grass chute. The deck is equipped with front and rear anti-scalp rollers, adjustable in 2 positions, and is also configured for side discharge.

EASY MAINTENANCE

To remove the blades it is not necessary to lift the machine or take apart the deck: this operation can be completed in a few minutes and in any condition. A quick-release coupling for the water pipe makes deck cleaning easier.

DIRECT CUT AND COLLECTION
GMT guarantees a clean and uniform cut over the entire width: the external overall size of the wheels, both front and rear, is less than the width of the deck. This means that the wheels do not tread beyond the cutting width, and the grass remains straight for the next pass. The floating blades are fitted with a shovelling system giving an aerodynamic movement of air and forcing the cut grass through to the grasscatcher.

ENGINES

The GTM is available as a petrol version with a 16 HP twin-cylinder engine.

The double air filtering element and the forced oil lubrication system, guarantee optimal yield for both engines and extend protection and life cycle.
Access to the engine is easy and very quick and does not require use of attachments: in a few seconds it is possible to inspect filters and oil level, access relays, fuses and the battery.

GRASSCATCHER

The large 280 litre Grasscatcher is a black mesh bag treated with an anti-UV additive on a steel tubular frame. The standard issue audible buzzer warning advises the operator to disengage the PTO when the Grasscatcher is full, thus preventing the obstruction or clogging of the collection chute. The Grasscatcher emptying process is servo-assisted by a gas spring that at a minimum reduces strain on the operator. Comfortably from the driving position, the grass emptying grasscatcher is activated using the lever on the right.
An (optional) electrical emptying system is available and can be activated by simply pressing a button. The bottom of the Grasscatcher can be easily removed for cut with rear discharge.

DRIVER’S SEAT

The driver’s seat of the GTM and GTR has been designed to offer maximum ergonomics and comfort in use.
The STANDARD SEAT is full suspension and can be adjusted lengthwise; the high backrest, with a hard plastic framework and comfortable embracing padding, allow operators to work on this machine without tiring

HYDROSTATIC TRANSMISSION

The power transmission to the wheels is obtained through a reinforced heavy duty type hydrostatic axle.
A 5 mm thick steel sump guard protects it from possible collision with kerbs, rocks, roots and other bulky objects that may be found in work areas. A single pedal, quick and intuitive, controls forward and reverse movement for practical use.
An adjustable system with damper and contrast spring damps the braking in order to guarantee comfort for the operator when changing direction and braking.
