Two generators in one!
This smart generator can be used as a normal high-quality heavy-duty Airman 37kVA prime running generator. However, hidden within the canopy is a frequency inverter which, when switch on, transforms the unit into a powerful motor start generator.
The inverter V-Pump range of generators has been engineered by Airman to create a new power generation solution. It was created to address the need to start high current draw DOL pumps, or any DOL motor, without oversizing the generator. A frequency controller dial on the control panel can then be used to control the motor speed. If say, a submersible DOL water pump is being operated, the water flow can be easily adjusted from the generators control panel.
The Japanese made Kubota diesel engine is very fuel efficient. Compared to using a larger generator to start the motor, the Airman V-Pump generator could reduce fuel usage costs by 50% or more. The extra-large bunded fuel tank extends run times between re-fuelling.
