Barclay Primary Tyre Shredder

The Barclay Primary Shredder is the “workhorse” in the industry for first stage tyre reduction, taking whole passenger, 4x4, light commercial and truck tyres (up to 72 inch OD) or cut OTR segments. It produces strips from 124 mm to 254 mm with a throughput of 12 - 18 Tonnes/hour (TPH), depending on configuration.

Continuously rotating strippers prevent blockages and eliminate wear plate replacement, while chain-driven feed rollers with a torque-limiting clutch keep material moving. The 75 hp motor and gearbox include shear pin protection to safeguard the drive train, and fully wired user-friendly controls provide fast installation and safe operation.
