Biesse Intermac Cut Pro C cutting bench for flat and laminated glass
A dual-machine system combining monolithic and laminated glass processing for enhanced efficiency and productivity
The combination of monolithic and laminated glass cutting machines in Intermac Cut Pro C system
ensures high productivity and automation on any glass size.
Monolithic glass is processed with the precision and speed of a dedicated cutting table, aided by the laminated glass machine for automatic X cuts breaking.
Laminated glass automatic scoring, breaking, and separation, performed on a dedicated machine are further supported by the transport and buffer functionality of the monolithic glass machine.
The perfect combination
The system combines a monolithic glass cutting table with a laminated glass processing center, offering optimized functionality for both materials.
The monolithic glass machine ensures high productivity and precision, supported by the second machine for efficient breaking operations.
The laminated glass processing center provides a specialized, high-production environment, with the first machine enabling automatic sheet movement for smooth workflow integration.
Shaped glass? We’ve got It covered
While shaped and out-of-square parts are standard for monolithic glass cutting tables, processing laminated glass presents additional challenges.
Intermac Cut Pro C overcomes this by enabling the cutting curvilinear shapes through seamless interpolation between the squaring bridge and cutting head.
A specialized suction cup with a rotational encoder ensures precise diagonal cuts, allowing for the assisted processing of parallelogram and trapezoid glass parts.
Digital pressure for consistent precision
Automatic cutting wheel pressure control via a digital proportional valve enhances cutting precision and overall quality on monolithic table.
Each cutting wheel is linked to a pre-loaded parameter recipe that can be quickly adjusted to suit different glass types for easier breakout.
On laminated glass table, where gravity impacts the upper and lower cutting heads differently, dual independent proportional valves ensure precise scoring control and consistently superior cuts.
Handling Every Glass, Maximizing Every Cut
When cutting monolithic glass, the first machine provides flexibility and precision for quickly cutting straight or shaped geometries, while the laminated glass machine automates X cuts breaking and serves as a service table for manual Y cuts opening, improving workflow efficiency.
When processing laminated glass, the monolithic table becomes a service station with advanced transport and buffer systems, enabling seamless automated production with automatic rotation and processing stages.
The ability to handle large sheets optimizes material use and reduces waste.
Track Every Cut
Manual tracking of cut glass is a thing of the past with Intermac Cut Pro C.
It automatically applies labels before scoring, ensuring precise identification of each cut part and eliminating operator errors.
This feature works seamlessly on both monolithic and laminated glass applications.
The customizable labels can include part size, shape, and barcodes, enabling automatic program loading for subsequent machines in the production line.
Engineered for Every Thickness
Engineered for precision and performance, the system can process monolithic glass from 3 to 25mm and automatically break the X cuts using the reinforced breakout bar of the laminated glass machine up to 10mm.
Designed with linear guides and a torque shaft, the breakout bar ensures uniform pressure for reliable breaking, allowing for the processing of laminated glass from 22.1 to 1212.4, without the need for special equipment or skilled operators.
Clean edges, prefect cuts
Tangential wheel units with independent motors, installed on both monolithic and laminated glass cutting bridges, ensure efficient low-E coating removal for seamless scoring and breaking.
The unit on the monolithic table handles edge deletion on both straight and shaped geometries, adding production flexibility.
A high-efficiency dust collection system with optimized hood positioning ensures thorough coating removal, even on EasyPro or TPF glass, delivering perfectly clean results without manual intervention.
Monolithic, patterned, mirror
The first machine is dedicated to processing monolithic, patterned, and mirrored glass, capable of handling both straight and shaped geometries.
The second machine automatically performs the X-cut breaking operations for increased productivity.
Laminated Glass
Laminated glass cutting, performed on the second machine, starts with scoring using tungsten carbide wheels, followed by glass breakout with integrated breakout bars.
Heating lamps then soften the PVB layer, allowing for automatic separation and precise PVB cutting to complete the process.
The first machine facilitates the operations by acting as a service table for sheet handling and automation.
Low-E glass
With the TCR unit, the coating layer is automatically removed before the scoring, breaking, and separation phases, enabling fast and efficient processing of low-E glass.
