Biesse Intermac Cut Up M B Cutting bench for float glass
Automatic cutting table for glass processing, equipped with transport belts for efficient loading and offloading, designed to support flexible, high-volume production.
Versatile and efficient cutting table designed to streamline glass processing with advanced automation features.
Equipped with an automatic tool changer, robust frame, and transport belt system, it ensures fast, precise cutting and smooth glass handling with minimal manual input.
Its intuitive design reduces the learning curve, while automatic labeling and Low-E coating removal boost processing capability, providing clean, ready-to-process glass in complete safety.
Smarter, organized workflow
Manual tracking of cut glass through the production line is now a thing of the past.
Intermac Cut Up M 0 can automatically apply labels before scoring to identify each cut part, eliminating the risk of operator errors associated with manual labeling.
These customizable labels can include information such as part size, shape, and even barcodes, which allow machines in subsequent production stages to automatically load the correct program.
The automatic labeling system can also be used alongside the TCR unit, a combination typically reserved for high-end machines.
Fast and steady production
Unprecedented processing speed and precision are achieved through a robust frame and a reliable movement system, engineered to maximize machine performance.
With double linear guides, a rack-and-pinion system, and a powerful rotational axis, the cutting head offers maximum dynamics and reliability, even under heavy workloads, making it ideal for flexible, high-demand production.
Designed for efficiency, the belt transport system provides a steady production flow, ensuring consistent output and optimal productivity.
Tool and shape
Equipped with a 6-position tool changer, the machine allows the processing of various glass types with the appropriate cutting wheel, automatically recalling the proper cutting parameters for each material.
This enables continuous cutting of straight and curved shapes across different glass thicknesses, eliminating the need for manual intervention and ensuring seamless operation.
Clean and fast coat removal
The machine is equipped with a tangential wheel for Low-E coating removal, mounted on a rotating axis to handle both straight and shaped paths.
A high-efficiency dust collection system and optimized hood positioning enable fast, thorough coating removal, even on EasyPro or TPF glass, where finer dust and higher material volumes can be challenging to manage.
This setup delivers a perfectly clean result without manual intervention, leaving the glass ready for scoring.
Flexibility made simple
Designed with user-friendliness in mind, this machine minimizes the learning curve and quickly unlocks its full programming capabilities.
Its simplicity allows for the effortless creation of complex geometries, empowering you to explore your creativity and stay flexible in response to the evolving demands of the market.
Precise cutting
With precise control from a digital proportional valve, the cutting head automatically adjusts the pressure for superior cut quality.
Pre-loaded parameter recipes, linked to each cutting wheel, can be adjusted on the fly with the push of a button, allowing the pressure to adapt seamlessly to different glass types for easier break-out.
Safety first
Designed with operator safety in mind, Intermac Cut Up M B incorporates preventive measures such as a photocell and mirror-protected safety zone or metal mesh fence where there is connection to other machines or service tables.
This setup safeguards operators from collisions while allowing unobstructed access, ensuring ergonomic execution of daily tasks near the machine.
Monolithic glass processing
The machine’s core process begins with scoring using tungsten carbide wheels, followed by an automatic transfer of the sheet to perform glass breakout on a separate table.
Its onboard toolchanger automatically selects and adjusts the cutting wheel to match the glass type and thickness, ensuring optimal performance for each cut
Low-e processing
The machine can score Low-E glass as standard, and for edge deletion, the state-of-art TCR unit with tangential wheel, mounted on the main machine head and driven by an independent motor, removes the Low-E coating in straight or shaped geometries.
The dedicated vacuum system with separate dust collection bin ensures a perfect coating removal before scoring, even on the most challenging materials like TPF or EasyPro.
Other applications
With its toolchange feature, the machine can swiftly switch to specialized tool inserts for mirror and patterned glass cutting, ideal for artistic or custom applications, broadening its range of potential uses.
