SPECIAL FEATURES
The AK 640 SA is characterized by an optimal ratio of performance, efficiency and flexibility. This is achieved, among other things, by the separate drive of the scraper floor and the pendulum-mounted feed roller as well as the load-controlled material feed, which ensures continuous shredding of the material and optimal utilization of the machine.

The almost 6 m wide filling hopper allows the AK 640 SA to be easily filled even with very large material. The 7.50 m long and 1.50 m wide discharge conveyor not only scores with a discharge height of over 5 m, but can also be lowered almost to ground level, so that the flail drum, shredding tools and rear basket are very easily accessible.

The easy exchangeability of the components as well as the high diagnostic capability of the machine ensure a high level of service and maintenance friendliness.

Despite the dimensions of the AK 640 SA in working condition, the transport dimensions of 12 m (length) and 2.5 m (width) allow it to be moved easily. The new MTU 6R 1500 diesel engine with 20 kW more power meets the Stage V emissions standard. Other features of this high-speed shredder include the completely new stainless steel piping of the exhaust system and the highly effective shielding of the exhaust aftertreatment system through integral insulation, which optimizes fire protection.
