Danieli Inline Mill, 16 Stand :-

Alternate horizontal / vertical configuration. In 1994 the installation of “rougher” stands A to F, increased the length of billet in the furnace to 8.3M and bar length up to 12M

Electrical drive upgrades , control system upgrades across most areas, ultra low NOx burner upgrade to the billet reheat furnace, installation of an energy recovery heat exchanger (recuperator) to pre-heat combustion air in the billet reheat furnace.

Most mill stands (gearbox/mandrel assemblies) have undergone replacement/modernisation or refurbishment in recent years. There are complete spare units some as young as 4 years old with zero hours on them and asset replacement value for some items - $1M.

Capacity

The mill is capable of 70 metric tonnes per hour across many sizes which was the mills ideal delay free rate. Using a conservative 45 metric tonens per hour delay inclusive rate , operating 48 weeks/year and 12 hour maintenance window per fortnight the mill capacity is 350,000 metric tonnes per annum.

Complete with tooling to suit rod sizes 26, 27, 30, 32, 33, 35, 36, 39, 40, 42, 45, 46, 48, 50, 50.8, 52, 54, 55, 56, 60, 62, 63.5, 64, 65, 68.5, 70, 75, 76, 80, 85, 90, 95, and 100mm dia.
