Drago Gold is the only sunflower-sorghum head equipped with features designed to substantially reduce harvest losses at a higher working speed in extreme conditions, increasing productivity, sample quality reaping more grain in the bin.

Drago Header fronts are a wise investment for the smart farmer and pay for themselves.

Drago Gold features a large 500mm diameter feed auger allowing increased harvesting ground speed, reducing blockages and loss of productivity, and features auger clutch protection.

Other features include –

Concave shaped tank bonnets which capture falling grain, reducing harvest losses, compared to standard Convex shaped bonnets.

A unique feature exclusive to Drago header fronts is two clutches on each row group, preventing overloads on chains with rubber teeth and opposing disc cutters, which protects each row element.

Adjustable Header Connections, maintaining a 12? working position irrespective of harvester brand or model. Drago adjustable connections maintain this optimum working position irrespective of harvester wheel heights.

Oil-Bath External Transmission, Drago Gold features a factory sealed oil-bath transmission offering total protection from impurities and foreign objects making them zero maintenance units.

Rear Protection Grid is standard on the Drago Gold keeping the harvested crop in the header front.

Optional Built-in Stalk Chopper can be purchased and installed anytime, the stalk chopper remains in the same position when working while the header front can be lowered or raised as necessary when harvesting.

Crop gathering and cutting systems available:

1) GATHERING CHAINS for harvesting sunflower: equipped with special rubber teeth able to gently grab the stalk of the plant carrying it towards the conveyor auger, preventing loss of product.

2) CHAIN BELTS for harvesting sorghum: designed to pickup sorghum stalks, suitable for down sorghum. Consistently cutting stalk height at 380mm (15”), easily transferring sorghum into the auger preventing losses of downed plants.

3) DISC CUTTING SYSTEM using two opposed tempered steel discs cut the sunflower plant without shaking it, resulting in high cutting speed without vibrations, avoiding loss of kernels.

Drago Gold header fronts are totally customisable: available from four (4) to twenty four (24) rows and row spacing from 50cm to 90cm, with optional hydraulic chopping system and lateral augers.

DRAGO Gold is available to match all common combines and forage harvesters and can also be supplied with additional mounting adapters for use on many different harvesters.
