The FOM FMC Machining center for aluminium profiles has been designed to drill, machine and cut with accuracy and efficiency. The machine bed is over 4m long, and the unique design allows for handling even longer profiles and extrusions. The 4 axis machining spindle is compact, but extremely rigid to ensure high quality vibration free machining. Onboard automatic tool change allows for different machining and cutting to be done with no operator involvement.

Technical Characteristics
Each axis is controlled by brushless servomotors by way of:
- Pinion with helical teeth and rack for the X axis (longitudinal) and the Y axis (transversal)
- High precision ground recirculating ball screw and preloaded lead nut for the Z axis (vertical)
Absolute encoder systems applied to all the axes make the zeroing (homing) operation at machine start-up redundant.
The control panel is attached to the protection cabin and used to execute commands and run programs. Oversized 24” display
Selected range of toolholders, collets and tooling is included.
