The ‘Chain Load Cell System’ is a simple and versatile scale that is suitable for most forklifts, reach trucks, walkie stackers, stock pickers and side loaders.

The system is capable of sensing weight with an amazing ±0.5% accuracy of machine capacity. This information is displayed on a SafeWeigh Digital Indicator. With this scale fitted to your machines, the operator can get an instant weight reading of any lifted load, meaning no need to deviate from their working path to weigh loads on a platform scale or weighbridge.

The ‘Chain Sensor System’ is compatible with a range of peripheral devices such as printers and safety devices including alarms and lock out devices to help improve safe operation in the workplace. (Sold separately)

HOW IT WORKS

The ‘Chain Sensor System’ load cell is fitted as a replacement link in the lifting chains of the forklift. When a load is lifted, the load cell senses the tension in the chain and sends data to the indicator mounted near the controls. A weight reading is then displayed on the indicator for the operator to view.

This system can be paired with either a “Safe Weigh” indicator or a “Weight Master Totaliser” indicator.
