SIGMA SERIES - PROCESSING OF BEAMS, FLAT BARS, PROFILES AND TUBES

The SIGMA is a CNC numerically controlled production line for drilling, tapping,
and milling of steel beam profiles which can be supported on two flat surfaces and
programmable from the PC. Angle profiles can be processed and, optionally, the
line can be adapted to process flat profiles using a magnetic fixing square set. The
machine is designed to process profiles loaded on the fixed and level able table of
the machine and automatically carries out operations with the drilling unit to
programmed points in selected faces.

Compact and powerful, the SIGMA line combines multiple processes in one system—ideal for steel service centers, fabricators, and structural steel manufacturers.

AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGER

-Built on a double linear guide.

ADVANCED SOFTWARE
-Full CNC with multiple nesting options. Accepts TEKLA, DSTV, DSTV+, ... Remote connection for troubleshooting.

DRILLING UNIT
- Vertical CNC-controlled drilling head with up to 13 kW of power.
- Drilling diameter up to Ø40 mm.
- Tool holder type SK40 with automatic tool changer (5 tools).
- Rotational speed range: 300–3,000 rpm.
- Milling stroke up to +/-250 mm with servo-driven movement on the U axis.

THREADING, MILLING & COUNTERSINKING
- Multi-purpose processing capabilities using a single spindle.
- CNC-regulated speed and feed depending on operation type.
- Compatible with threading, slot milling, and countersinking tools.

CLAMPING SYSTEM
- Vertical servo-driven clamping system with linear guides.
- Clamping force up to 1,000 kg for secure processing.
- Capable of working with chamfered profiles.
- Profile dimensions up to 1,000 x 1,000 mm and 12 m in length.

MOBILE DRILLING CABINET
- High-speed moving drill platform.
- Rack-and-pinion drive system for smooth movement and accuracy.
- Independent movement along the drill table, does not touch the floor.

BEAM HANDLING AND AUTO ROTATING UNIT (OPT)
-Automatic rotation system integrated into the drilling table for beams up to 600 mm and 12 m, no crane required.
-4 synchronized turners allow precise machining on different beam faces.
-CNC-controlled unit with automatic alignment to the zero reference line.
-Improves operator safety and ergonomics by eliminating manual handling.

MARKING UNIT
-Pneumatic scribing tool with SK40 holder for high-precision marking.
-Compatible with all profiles.
