This is the second frame weight in Kalin’s range. Feed speeds to 80m/min as standard with or without jointers.
Spindle choices with cutting units or regular hydro clamping 50mm shafts. Direct drive motors or conventional belt drive through countershafts. VSD on all spindles. This is a robust machine with tool extraction assistance built in. Tallying and sizing from the operators station, overpower sensing slows the feed speed if any spindle motor is overloading, this protects the machine from stalling and damage with adjustable parameters giving a confidence to really work this machine hard. Jointers are available in auto or manual with a precision carbide knife version. Keypad entry of sizes and job memory with tooling offsets. Configurations with saws and chamfering units fixed or floating. Floating side heads also available.
A sound cabin with incorporated extraction is available. This machine teams up with the Kalin GC-MA in the head automatic knife grinder for an excellent multi knife finish. A hardwood specification is available with suitable knife angles feed roller and extra hard chromed surfaces. The feed rollers are powered through individual motor gearboxes. This gives greater access for cleaning and maintenance.
