The Kangastop Plus is our mid-range measuring stop, engineered for integration with machinery such as drop saws, presses, and punches. It streamlines workflow by allowing operators to remain at the machine.
The Kangastop Plus models feature an upgraded motor with 2.5 times the power of the Tradesman, a larger PLC, and a 7-inch HMI for enhanced control of the additional features.
While capable of functioning as a bump stop, the Kangastop Plus excels as a pusher unit, using integrated optimisation software to calculate and display the number of lengths required for an order. This enables an operator to get the exact amount of material needed, while the software determines the most efficient cutting sequence to minimise waste.
The system supports automated trim cuts, pneumatic clamping (with optional modules), and blade lubrication, which extends saw blade life and reduces burring.
The Kangastop Plus can push sections up to 50 kg and includes connections for pneumatic clamps, lubrication modules and the Saw Triger feature, all controlled via the HMI.
The saw trigger accessory allows material jogging to be activated at the saw, increasing productivity.
An optional label printer produces low-tack, residue-free labels in the order of cuts. Users have reported raw material waste reductions of 12–15% with the optimisation program.
The Kangastop Plus is accurate to ±0.1 mm and is covered by a 10-year warranty.
Built using industrial-grade PLC and HMI components, steel-reinforced belts, Festo filter/regulator for air quality compliance and #304 stainless steel fixings ensures years of trouble free operation.
It operates on a 240 V, 10 amp supply and includes an integrated earth leakage / circuit breaker.
