Krone Hay Bale Maker

Krone VariPack round balers are specifically designed for baling dry crops thanks to the smooth belts utilised in the bale chamber. They offer an uncomplicated design, high throughputs and high baling densities. The large-diameter VariPack 190 is capable of producing round bales between 0.8 and 1.90 metres in diameter.

EasyFlow
The VariPack EasyFlow camless pickup features a v shaped 2.15m EasyFlow pick-up. Double tines gather the material effectively and feed it consistently to the feed rotor and rotor cutter. In rough terrain, the spring-loaded EasyFlow provides perfect ground contouring. The EasyFlow system is camless, resulting in a simple design with fewer moving parts, less wear, and quiet running. The tines are particularly powerful and hard-wearing, narrowly spaced at 55 mm, they're capable of picking up heavy crops thoroughly and without contamination.

Integral Rotor
VariPack comes equipped with the feed auger integrated at both ends of the rotor cutter and the feed rotor. This means that only one drive is required to power the pick-up and the rotor. Combining helical tines and augers on the same rotor optimises material flow across the entire width of the rotor for high bale weights and precise cuts. The integral rotor features a drop floor, which can conveniently be opened and closed from the cab, opening the floor under the cut-and-feed rotor to remove blockages.

Bale Unloading
Unloading bales effectively and quickly is critical. The hydraulic cylinders that operate the rear door have stroke end cushioning enabling fast unloading cycles and maximum throughput. Reducing unloading times to only a few seconds before the tractor is moving again, providing high productivity in round baling.


The Baler can be operated by any tractor producing 80 PTO HP.
