Krone’s 4.2m Single Rotor Rakes is built with the same rotor components as the largest rotary rake in the world, the Swadro 2000. This offers peace of mind that you are working with the best single-rotor rakes on the market. The Swadro S single-rotor rakes stand out for ease of operation, offering adjustable work height and swath width, and unbeatable transportation and storage.
Cardanic Rotor Suspension
Swadro single-rotor rakes feature a cardanic rotor suspension that works to keep the Swadro rotor level when lifted and lowered. A cardanic joint on the arm prevents the tines from being pressed into the ground or from being suspended in the air, avoiding crop contamination. The rotors pivot to give optimum adaption to undulating ground.
Swath Cloth Fold
The swathing curtain can be operated from a double-acting spool which lowers the curtain into work and then extends it to the desired swathing width - this routine is reversed when the curtain is raised out of work. An optional hydraulic folding curtain is also available.
Castering Properties
When the tractor is turned, the caster-steered headstock tracks accurately behind it. Thanks to the balancing arm, managing tight headlands or awkwardly shaped fields is easy. The damper struts eliminate tailing and ensure straight and uniform swaths. Also, the machine centres itself exactly and automatically behind the tractor as it is raised, eliminating the need for a separate transport locking system.
Folding Tine Arms
The Swadro features extremely durable thick tubed tine arm that wont bend, even when working with wet or heavy material. Swadro tine arms can be folded for easy transportation and reduced storage height or can be easily removed inclusive of the bearing housing by simply undoing two bolts. The Swadro tine arms are kinked in two positions to lift the material off the ground and up the length of the tine.
Duramax Cam Track
The Krone single-rotor delivery rake features the DuraMax Cam Track with a durable surface and flexible core that results in low wear and maintenance. As the tine arms follow a steep curve, the tines are promptly lifted out of work, resulting in optimum swaths in any condition.
This Rake has a 4200MM working width, and requires 50 PTO HP
