This sheet slitting line came out of a sheet cut-to-size business that was loading 7 ton coils and making sheets to sell to the trades.
It processes large coils of metal into precisely sized flat sheets or blanks for manufacturing by combining slitting (cutting widthwise) and shearing (cutting lengthwise).
It has a newly built control cabinet which controls the whole line via PLC. It can be programed to cut multiple quantities of ten different sized lengths in one run.
