It is used for modular instrumentation and DAQ applications. The PXI-8106 includes 10/100/1000BASE-TX gigabit Ethernet and four USB ports, as well as an integrated hard drive, serial port, and other peripheral I/O.

PXI-8461 - High-speed Controller Area Network (CAN) interface for developing applications with the NI?CAN driver.

PXI-6255 - 80 AI (16-Bit, 1.25 MS/s), 2 AO, 24 DIO, PXI Multifunction I/O Module.

PXI-7833R - PXI Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Module that has eight 16-bit Analog Input channels, eight 16-bit Analog Output channels, and 96 bidirectional Digital I/O lines that the user can configure independently for inputs or outputs.
