The Packserv PCM-1A-E conveyor mounted auto capper is the perfect unit for the capping of almost any style of container closure whether screw-on, push-on, trigger-pack or spray-pack.
This unit features it’s own sensor and gating system to ensure consistency and simplicity with rates of up to 60 units per minute.

Our PCM-1A-E Auto Capper is an automatic cap tightener designed to mount onto continuously running slat-type conveyors. The PCM-1A-E is capable of tightening a vast range of closures at rates of up to 60 units per minute.

Capable of tightening any kind of screw-on or push-on closure; when utilised with out PT-7 trigger-pack unit can additional tighten trigger-pack, pump and mist-spray closures.

During operation, containers will arrive at the Auto Capper by an inline conveyor, with caps pre-positioned upstream either manually or by automatic cap placement equipment. A photo electric sensor or whisker switch detects the presence of a container and initiates machine operation through an electronic timer control unit which in turns the tightening head, jaws and gates system.

The control unit of the PCM-1A-E provides a comprehensive yet simple control of all the different elements to ensure any container and closure type can be adequately and efficiently tightened whilst still offering fast set-ups and container changeover. The programmable digital timer and pneumatic controls ensure optimum ease of use for the operator.

The PCM-1A-E Auto Capper is supplied complete with a conveyor or conveyor mounting frame, pneumatic container gating and clamping devices, and aluminium clamping jaws (with non-marking friction facing) which are contoured to the individual container profile or use one of our existing templates to ensure universal container application. Jaws for glass containers are supplied with plastic slippers to prevent the container scoring the conveyor during the bottling process.
