Fully designed and manufactured by PETRO Industrial in Thailand, the Liquitainer Self Bunded Tank represents the industry standard for fabrication quality and paint finish. Available in 10ft, 20ft, 40ft, and 48ft footprints, the tanks can be supplied with or without a bunded pump bay housing.

These tanks are UL listed and approved to UL142 and ULC-S601 with certificate #20120912-MH49221. They feature a self-bunded double wall design with a unique rounded rectangular profile, maximizing storage footprint while maintaining visibility for long-term fuel or oil storage applications. The tanks are manufactured to standard container footprints and are CSC plated as standard shipping containers, allowing for transport by sea, rail, or road.

The Liquitainer tanks come with PETRO-designed and manufactured integrated valving, including an 80mm (3") anti-syphon valve and overfill protection valve. A battery-operated (12V) overfill alarm is included. The fill inlet is equipped with an 80mm (3") fill line, including Schedule 40 pipe, ANSI 150# flanges, a Camlock male fitting with dust cap, a fire-safe ball valve for isolation, and a wafer-style non-return valve. The suction outlet features an 80mm (3") suction line, with similar specifications to the fill line, terminating in a fire-safe ball valve.

The tanks offer a choice of an integrated or clip-on bunded pump bay housing, with removable side panels to facilitate simple multiple tank connections for tank farm applications. They include an integrated ladder and platform designed to AS1657 standards, allowing for flexible site positioning and operation. The platform can be linked with infill pieces in multiple tank farm applications to create a complete walk-through system. Optional side staircase modules can be attached to complete the tank top access system.

A 600mm manway with an integrated ladder allows for tank maintenance and degassing. Tanks larger than 12,000L are equipped with two manways. The paint specification includes a RAL9003 Signal White finish, with a three-stage Hempel Marine Paint process: Primer Hempadur 1530, second coat Hempadur Hi-Build 4520, and final coat Hempathane Enamel 55100, ensuring a finished dry film thickness of no less than 180 µm.

Optional baffling is available to allow the tank to be moved with liquid. The tanks are compatible with diesel, biodiesel, lubricants, gasoline (petrol), and waste oil. Multiple compartment tanks are available to store various grades or types of liquids, such as different fuels or lubricants.
