Introducing the PETRO PT Series, a premier range of containerized self-bunded tanks with a unique rounded rectangular design, perfect for above-ground fuel storage.

The PETRO PT Series is manufactured to standard 10ft, 20ft, 40ft, and 48ft container footprints. It is CSC Plated as a Standard Shipping Container, ensuring global transport by train, truck, ship, and plane. This intermodal solution offers a true fuel and lubricants storage advantage.

Our tanks are designed and approved to rigorous standards, including UL142, ULC-S601, AS1940, AS1692, and AS1657. Constructed from Corten 350 MPa steel with walls that are 6mm thick (2 x 6mm), these tanks guarantee durability and safety.

The PETRO PT Series features integrated 80mm (3") anti-syphon and overfill protection valves, along with a battery-operated (12V) overfill alarm. The fill inlet includes a comprehensive setup with an 80mm (3") fill line, Sch 40 pipe, ANSI 150# flanges, camlock male fitting with dust cap, fire-safe ball valve, and a wafer-style non-return valve. The suction outlet mirrors these specifications for efficiency and safety.

Designed for convenience, the tanks include a full-height pump bay housing with removable side panels for easy multi-tank connections, accommodating a range of dispensing, filtration, and metering equipment. The integrated ladder and platform, engineered to AS1657 standards, features a fold-out/fold-down design that allows for easy access while also being retractable for standard CSC Plated Container movement.

For maintenance, the 600mm manway with an integrated ladder facilitates tank access, with additional manways provided on tanks larger than 12,000L. The tanks are sandblasted to SA2 Standard and finished with a three-stage Hempel Marine Paint process, including a primer, high-build coat, and enamel, ensuring durability with a finished dry film thickness of no less than 180 um.

Optional baffling is available to allow for safe movement with liquid, and the tanks are suitable for a range of liquids, including diesel, biodiesel, lubricants, gasoline (petrol), and waste oil. Multiple compartment tanks are available to store various grades or types of liquids.

Additionally, the rounded floor profile with an engineered low point includes a 25mm suction line for effective water removal.
