MEECH - JetStream Portable Ionising Air Knife.

The unbeatable JetStream Ionising Air Knife System removes contamination and eliminates static from a diverse range of applications.

The blower produces a high volume of air which exits the air knife through a preset slot in the manifold and targets the surface with precision and minimal air turbulence. At this point, powerful ionisation neutralises the static charge that holds the dust in place, allowing the ionised air to effectively dislodge and remove the contamination.

The JetStream Ionising Air Knife System features twin AC 914 Short-Range Ionising Bars and requires a 904-905 Power Unit. We developed this system for industries such as Food/Beverage, Plastics, Glass, Metal, Packaging and Automotive and engineer it using hard anodised aluminium and stainless steel, making it suitable for use in most environments.

Additionally, the JetStream Ionising Air Knife System has several benefits over other air blow system styles. Particularly, it reduces running costs by typically 70-90% compared to compressed air alternatives and delivers a more balanced, consistent performance.

Air Knife Specifications:

Stainless steel frame and body mounted to casters.

Consists of 2 Meech Static Eliminators - 914 Ionising bars mounted in parrallel at the discharge end of an air curtain. Bars are 580mm long. Powered by a Meech 905 Power supply with an output voltage of 5kV.

The air knife is height adjustable from approx 900mm - 1400mm from ground and also swivels up and down.

A single phase, 240V blower complete with variable speed drive and air filters creates a consistent airflow at the discharge.

Unit comes with start / stop, saftey switch and emergency stop controls and powered by a 10 amp, 240V, single phase plug.

Unit previously used in chocolate production.
Chocolate Sticking to Moulds

Chocolate Sticking to Moulds During Chocolate Manufacture. Moulded chocolate will generate static charges. This will also transfer to the moulds. The static charges will prevent the chocolate from being de-nested from the mould adding additional manufacturing time. Neutralising the moulds between each filling cycle will prevent electrostatic charges building to a level high enough to cause problems.
