Consists of food grade Polyurethane flexible wall feed hopper, integral massaging paddles and screw feeder with optional screw nozzles and screws at its core for product handling.

Controllers control the frequency of flexing paddles and the rpm of the screw feeder.

There are 3 standard models as shown in page 3 of the uploaded brochure.

The hopper slides into the frame and sits without any need for screws or fasteners; the paddles are continuously adjustable in frequency and so too the screw rpm; the screw nozzle and screw can be changed in a few seconds; the whole thing can be taken apart and cleaned with rapidity, allowing for rapid product change overs.

The motors can be offered in SS body; The frame is SS 304 and the screw nozzle and screw can be offered in SS 316L and to pharmaceutical finish.

Weigh/filling is achieved through a weight controller.

The controller for weighing can be offered in the more expensive loss in weight option or the cheaper gain in weight option.

The commoner gain in weight system is explained below:

A standard net weight can be set and the powder fills are achieved rapidly at first till a given set weight set at about 95% of target weight and then dribble control and fine weight control are achieved till final end point is reached.

This allows operators to concentrate on just filling the containers/bags and replenishing the containers at the weigh scale, without having to worry about bridging, poor filling of screw flights and achieve accurate filling every time.

The Durafeeder bins have varying capacities as shown in the uploaded brochure (page 5).
The Durafeeder hopper can also be provided with extension pieces in food grade material to hold more material or transition pieces and can be fed by level controllers or by using Durabins to feed from above.

The design is sanitary and has superior seals to prevent dust ingress and ensures rapid and thorough cleaning.
