RUF Lignum Classic Briquette Press

The RUF LIGNUM Classic Briquette Press is a high-performance hydraulic briquetting system designed to convert wood residues such as sawdust, wood chips, and shavings into dense, uniform fuel briquettes. Manufactured in Germany, the machine provides a reliable and efficient solution for businesses looking to transform loose wood waste into a valuable and sustainable energy product.

Using powerful hydraulic compression of up to 1,700 kg/cm², the press compacts wood byproducts without the need for binding agents, producing durable briquettes with excellent combustion characteristics. The resulting briquettes are consistent in shape and density, measuring approximately 150 mm x 60 mm, making them easy to handle, transport, store, and use in fireplaces, boilers, or industrial heating systems.

The LIGNUM Classic is engineered for continuous operation and integrates easily into woodworking and biomass processing facilities. With a production output of up to approximately 410 kg per hour and a connected power requirement of around 30 kW, the system delivers efficient, high-density briquetting while maintaining low operating and maintenance requirements.

The machine has a compact industrial footprint, with approximate dimensions of 2,000 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 2,000 mm in height, allowing it to be installed easily within existing processing lines or material handling systems.
