This thicknesser has always been reliable and well maintained. Despite visual wear from years of consistent use it is in great mechanical condition and never put under excessive load with maximum 3mm passes (8mm max removal)
Used mainly for working with hardwoods, it Machines with a great finish due to being optioned with the desirable Xylent machine head. Usually only needing 0.5mm of sanding to create a perfectly smooth finish (species dependent)
