The SCM Minimax FS 41E is a professional-grade combination planer-thicknesser and jointer-planer designed for demanding woodworking, joinery and cabinetry environments. This compact yet capable machine delivers smooth surface planing, accurate thicknessing and reliable jointing in a single unit, ideal for craftsmen and production workshops.

The planer unit stands on cast-iron supports and features a standard 87 mm diameter cutterblock with three knives for efficient material removal and an excellent finish. An optional Tersa straight-knife cutterhead with four quick-tightening knives and automatic adjustment is available for extended cutting life and easier maintenance.

The thicknesser feed rollers feature an adjustable pressure system to suit different wood densities, while the infeed roller’s helicoidal profile ensures a firm, consistent feed and the sandblasted steel outfeed roller helps maintain a high-quality finish.
