This is a simple, heavy-duty machine, built as a single units 10f wide. Chopper Rollers are used prior to plowing, in areas of heavy slash, to speed up the process of material breakdown into mulch. It is important to chop when material is dry; on the hottest summer days, or during winter frosts. In heavy debris, it is often more effective to chop twice, with about six months between treatments, using a single roller behind a 250-300hp dozer, or large 4WD tractor or skidder.
It is built with three water ballast compartments, including baffle plates, to give four weight options to suit varying field conditions.
