The new 220Amp 240V single phase Tig Sound AC-DC 2240/M has an exceptionally high power to weight ratio. It boasts 160A 100% duty cycle while weighing in at only 21.5kg.

LEADING EDGE INVERTER TECHNOLOGY
is used to deliver exceptional pulse arc characteristics allowing the operator to achieve outstanding weld results on such a wide range of parent metals.

PULSE TIG
allows the operator to weld thin materials decreasing the heat affected zone on the parent metal and reducing metal fatigue adjacent to the weld.

THE ‘POWER FACTOR CORRECTION’
innovation is included on this machine enables the power source to tolerate supply/input voltage fl uctuations of +15% over voltage and -20% under voltage, protecting the power source from power spikes, drops and surges thus protecting the equipment and delivering consistent weld output.

TUNGSTEN BALLING SYSTEM
This new advance in AC Tig welding signifi cantly reduces the AC arc width giving the operator more control & delivering a petite weld bead without white oxidization either side of the weld.
How? a) sharpen a 2.4mm zirconiated tungsten to a pencil point b) program the machines tungsten balling system for the diameter ball needed i.e. 1mm c) start welding with new control!
