Our Australian made surveillance camera, the solar PTZ camera, features motion detection, full automation, remote and video recording. Ideal for all outdoor security needs from work and construction sites through to residential homes. The solar security camera operates alone, as well as in conjunction with most of our other traffic equipment, such as radar speed signs and solar light towers.



SOLAR SECURITY CAMERA PTZ
The solar PTZ camera is a reliable and efficient, 4G/WiFi operated, solar powered 2 megapixel security camera designed for all types of environments. It’s perfect for remote locations, as it’s designed with the functionality to set-and-forget, as well as being able to be operated remotely using a smart phone, tablet or PC. The compact, autonomous surveillance camera is solar powered, so it’s completely independent of external power. It also has a solar-smart charging system, which ensures that the battery always has enough charge to control the camera, modem and the rest of the system, without going flat.

Also, images are sent via a 3G/4G modem to a PC, mobile phone, or web based monitoring dashboard. The camera has a rugged IP67 housing and an optional wireless motion detector which is designed to be able to activate the camera from up to 80 metres away. It can also operate in time-lapse mode for applications such as construction, traffic and water monitoring, etc. This unique surveillance system has the ability to record HD video for up to 1 month before overwriting. The live video, viewed at any time or alternatively you can download any footage of interest. Still images are also stored on an internal SD card as a backup. For sites with multiple cameras, only the host camera requires the 4G modem and the rest communicate to the host via WiFi.
