Description: Twin screw co-rotating extruder, 37/27D. Fully refurbished, including electrics in 2017. Ready for use in a food or related application. Previously used for food manufacturing, in an allergen-free environment. Machine is mounted on a skid base. Is currently in operation and available for inspection.

Dry material feeder: Dry material feeder volumetric doser.

Conveyor: This unit conveys dry materials from a bag tipper, up and into the dry material feeder. Food-grade stainless steel construction. Rapid rate of conveying. 200L hopper capacity. Fitted with dust extractor.

Liquid doser: Solenoid Metering Pump, 2017 Unit from ProMinent, type GMXa
Provides accurate, reliable and fine detail control of liquid dosing. Suitable for liquids with viscosity. Has only been used to dose water in it’s working life.

Digital pressure transducer: Pressure sensor displays pressure in the barrel in the final section of the barrel, just before the die.

Oil heaters: The barrel has three temperature zones, which can be heated and cooled. The first barrel (far from the die) is fitted with a Shini Temperature controller (oil heater), the middle is fitted with an original oil heater and the final barrel section (before the die) is currently fitted with cooling water (room temp). The heaters have been used in the range of 150C, however can go hotter.

Pully system: The unit comes with a winch for removing the screw from the barrel, in sticky applications.

Cutting blade: Unit is fitted with a cutting blade presently. Fitted with highly controllable SEW Eurodrive servo variable speed drive motor, up to 450rpm.
