WHITTAKER PACKAGING - ROT8 Semi-automatic pallet wrapping machine - remote control activation

The ROT8 WP-555-AA is a revolutionary addition to the Australian pallet wrapping market, saving on not only stretch film usage but also labour with the forklift operator only having to leave the fork lift to replace empty film rolls.

A heavy duty remote control system handles the starting of the wrap cycle when the machine registers start conditions for automatic mode are met. The cycle can also be stopped/paused by remote control.

The pneumatically operated jaws clamp the stretch film for the start of the cycle, allowing automatic attachment to the load. The unit is programable through the easy to use HMI to conduct the bottom wraps either at the beginning or end of the wrap cycle with an air blower system aiding with tucking of film tails. Dials on the control panel control turntable rotation speed, carriage movement speed and film tension from the power pre-stretch carriage.

Our unique pneumatically operated film roping system, creates an adjustable width cable to maximise film attachment to the timber pallet. It can even be utilised throughout the cycle or for the top of the load to optimise product containment or provide ventilation for the load.

At the completion of the cycle, the automatic wiping arm cuts and attaches the tail to the load before extending completely where it remains, out of harms way until the load is removed. This system also means that the film tail is not wiped back off during arm retraction.

Control panel pivots for either left or right hand operation, increasing flexibility of use.
