The Focaseiki VMC-1600 | 1800 | 2000 Vertical Machining Centres are built for machining larger workpieces with faster cycle times. They utilise heavy-duty components for high performance.
Key features:
Y-Axis Travel: Features an extra-large Y-axis travel of 1000mm for large workpiece machining options.
Guideways: The X, Y, and Z axes use heavy-loading 55mm "6x8x6" slide blocks and cross roller-type linear guideways. The 2000 models specifically use NSK roller-type slide blocks on the Y-axis for increased machine stability and precision.
Rapid Traverse: The rapid traverse rate is 24/24/20 m/min.
Ball Screw: A large-diameter 63mm C3 ball screw is used on all three axes (X, Y, and Z).
Spindle & Z-Axis: Has a low-speed, high-torque wide-range spindle motor option. The Z-axis uses a servo motor brake system and two cylinders for counter-balance to achieve high performance.
