The Wood-Mizer MR250 is an advanced double arbor multirip saw engineered for high-capacity industrial operations that demand speed, accuracy, and flexibility. Designed to maximize throughput while minimizing material waste, the MR250 delivers fast, precision cuts in a single pass, making it the ideal solution for large-scale lumber production. With a cutting capacity of up to 650 mm in width and 250 mm in thickness, and the ability to accommodate up to 32 blades (16 per shaft), the MR250 is tailored for aggressive production environments. Material alignment is supported by a side fence and laser sight, with options to add up to three lasers for enhanced accuracy. For increased safety, the MR250 multirip features anti-kickback fingers, a limit bar with an emergency switch, and manual override options in case of material jams.

The machine comes with infeed and outfeed tables - 2 m standard, extendable. Beneath durable top and side covers are 8 power rollers (6 bottom and 2 top rollers) and 2 electrically adjusted arbors. The arbors and the head with press rollers are motorized and controlled via a mini panel for convenient setup.

Blades (300–400 mm in diameter) and spacers are not included by default, as selection is tailored to each customer's cutting requirements. A built-in chipper handles waste efficiently, directing debris to three separate dust extraction ports.

Dual arbors are powered by independent motors ranging from 22 to 55 kW, while the feed system runs on a separate 1.5 kW unit. Feed speed is adjustable (2–25 m/min) and protected by an intelligent overload detection system.

The remote operator panel—connected via a 5 m cable—includes key functions such as feed control, laser activation, arbor and head adjustment, memory presets, and emergency stop. An optional Setworks display is available for enhanced automation. The power and control cabinet is placed separately, with its installation tailored to the customer’s workspace layout.
