Originally founded in 1914, the name Nissan was first used in 1930s and during this period, the company eventually grew to 74 firms and included buses as well as trucks in their vehicle line. It then became the fourth-largest Japanese car manufacturer during World War II and in the 1950s, Nissan expanded into the world market, establishing a name for itself when it came to reliability and performance.
